This quiet village on the shores of lake is located about 90 kms from ajmer. The
region has centuries old heritage with a royal imprint of the thakurs. Junia was
conquered in the late 16th century by kanwar kalyan singh rathore. The great
indian bustard sanctuary and a thousand year-old junia fort make this place
attractive to the tourists.
