Heritage Hotels in India

Danta (Rajasthan)

Accommodation in Heritage Hotel

The village danta in the shekawati region was gifted to thakur amar singh by the maharajah of Jodhpur & dates back to a few centuries.

Era danta kila (Danta - Rajasthan)

In 1702 a.d. foundations to two fortresses were laid in the village of danta. The fortresses had residential wings to house the army, and the stables for the horses. The residential wing nestles in the shadow of two fortresses located on the hill behind it. Built in a combination of rajput and mughal architecture, this has now been converted into a hotel. Large spacious rooms have been given modern touches, keeping the comfort of the guests in mind.
Huge open terraces invite peacocks and pigeons and it is quite normal to wake up to the sound of these birds as they flutter about from one point of fortress to another. The performing local musicians make the evenings melodious and memorable under the stars. Other amusement activities are horse, camel and jeep safaris.
