Baghera has monuments of historical importance including temples, caves &
cenotaphs, varah & jain temples being prominent among them. Here on the
banks of Varah Sagar lake, are the two cenotaphs of the brave warriors udai
singh and jorawar singh who died in the battle against the maratha army.
Fort Baghera (Baghera

This 17th century fort, built by rathore ruler udai singh and his son jorawar
singh is located on ajmer-sawaimadhopur bus route 100 kms from ajmer. This
imposing fort made of large stone blocks and having two massive ramparts with
round turrets on the four corners & is surrounded by a moat has withstood
the mighty invasion of marathas. The special features here include boating, bird
watching, folk music & dances and guided tours to nearby places that can be
